BAM Courts Bundle PPP – Meet the buyer event

On June 15 last the NDFA (National Development Finance Agency), acting as agent for and on behalf of the Courts Service, appointed BAM as the preferred tenderer for the Courts Bundle PPP Project.

This project involves the development of four new courthouses and the refurbishment and extension of three existing court buildings.

The €135 million PPP project will deliver upgraded courthouse facilities in seven different regions around Ireland. The new courthouse buildings will be developed in Drogheda, Letterkenny, Limerick and Wexford and refurbishment and extension works will be carried out to existing courthouses in Cork, Mullingar and Waterford.

Commenting on the Courts Bundle PPP project, Theo Cullinane, CEO BAM Ireland said “We are delighted to be undertaking another social infrastructure PPP project. To date the Courts Bundle is the ninth addition to BAM’s overall PPP portfolio.”

Construction is expected to commence in November 2015 with final delivery due by November 2017. The project also involves the maintenance of the buildings for a period of 25 years.
