No hanging around for Kirby Group

The major Irish mechanical and electrical engineering contracting firm, Kirby Group celebrated 50 years of Excellence in Engineering by launching its Managing Director and the senior management of some of Ireland’s largest construction and multinational firms off the top of the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, Irish Building Magazine was delighted to attend this fantastic day which coincided with the Ireland-England rugby match.

Founded in Limerick in 1964 by Michael and Tom Kirby, the company had turnover of EUR 90 million in 2013 across its Irish, UK and European markets and today employs over 600 people.  

Marking the occasion at the Aviva, Kirby donated €500 to a charity of each client’s choice for every abseil with a total contribution of over EUR 40,000 raised for Irish charities.  Pictured are Fergus Frawley, Managing Director, Kirby Group (left) with Hector O hEochagain who compered the event.
