Ger Penny, Non-Executive Director, Sisk Group, receives Chartered Director designation

Ger Penny, Non-Executive Director, Sisk Group and Director, Peony Management, has recently obtained designation as a Chartered Director, having successfully completed the Institute of Directors in Ireland (IoD) Chartered Director Programme.

Over 500 participants have undertaken the Chartered Director Programme to date, which is now in its sixth year in Ireland, and having obtained his Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction, Ger went on to become a fully accredited Chartered Director.

Ger served as CFO of the Sisk Group from 2005 until 2013 and played a key role in the development of the Group’s strategy and its decision to diversify into the healthcare sector in recent times. Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions with Diageo Plc in Ireland and the UK from 1994 to 2005, most recently as Finance Director for Baileys, the global drinks brand. Ger trained with PwC, working in both Dublin and Hong Kong and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Peony Management provide strategic, change consulting and financial advisory
