200 jobs in healthcare & finance sectors
120 jobs are to be created over the next three months at McMahon Healthcare in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
The company provides Nursing Home care.
80 construction jobs have already been created at its new facility Cairnhill in Bray.
The new roles will be in the nursing, administration, catering, managerial and support systems areas of the home, which will be designed to provide long term care.
McMahon Healthcare also operates a 42 bed nursing home facility in Foxrock, Co. Dublin for the past 17 years, and has had a facility in the UK prior to concentrating its resources in the South County Dublin area.
Speaking about the new jobs for Cairnhill Bray, Mr Brian McMahon of McMahon healthcare said, “we are very excited about our new facility in Bray and are keen make sure that the local economy really benefits from the large number of positions that we will be interviewing for over the coming weeks. Our new facility will offer the highest standard of care possible and we look forward to welcoming both new staff to our organisation and new residents to the centre”.
Meanwhile, an Irish professional services firm has announced it is to expand its operations in Ireland.
EY, the company formerly known as Ernst & Young, is to create 80 new jobs across its Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Belfast offices over the next six months.
