Frascati Centre in Blackrock to get a €50m makeover

The 30-year-old Frascati Centre in Blackrock, Dublin is due a makeover and it should set the owners back a cool €50 million.

The plan includes a major extension which will see the centre grow from 10,000sq m (107,639sq ft) to 16,000sq m (172,222sq ft) substantially increasing the shop space.

“Frascati is to be remodelled to accommodate an improved tenant mix focused on the local market with an emphasis on daily shopping uses,” said Aiden McDonnell of letting agent Colliers International.

A planning decision will follow.
