Telecoms company announces 70 new jobs
Cublic Telecom, headquartered in Dublin, has today announced the creation of 70 new jobs over the next three years.
The company has secured an investment of just over €4 million from Enterprise Ireland, Qualcomm Incorporated, ACT Venture Capital and TPS Investments.
With this funding, the company said it will further expand its operations globally having also been selected by a number of tablet and notebook manufacturers to become their key enabler for mobile connectivity in 2013.
Speaking today, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said we are “once again seeing a great example of the strength of Ireland’s indigenous ICT sector”.
“I am determined to ensure that, with the right supports from Government, companies like this can continue to start-up,grow and create the jobs we need,” he added.
In a seperate announcement,
VoiceSage, which specialises in automated customer service telecommunications technology, will create ten jobs over the next two years using a €1m investment.
All of the companies are receiving funding from the Government through Enterprise Ireland.
