This state of the art community facility will benefit people of all ages and sporting ability for years to come. I want to pay tribute to all those who championed the construction of this swimming pool over many, many years and I welcome the additional employment that this project has generated both during the construction phase and since the new facilities have been up and running.”
Also speaking on the day, An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Tom Joyce said; “The Centre has been redesigned to meet the particular needs of the physically and visually impaired including large changing cubicles, disabled toilets, wheelchair shower and easy accessible steps for pool entry.
