Elliott Group has launched the Emmet Road – An Droichead Órga Community Benefit Programme, reinforcing its commitment to creating lasting social value alongside the delivery of this landmark development.

The programme will provide funding to local organisations and community groups, delivering projects that make a positive difference across the local area. Applications have now been approved under one or more of the programme’s four priority themes:

• Building Stronger Communities
• Greener Communities
• Recreation, Sport, Arts & Culture
• Education & Skills

The Community Benefit Programme reflects a shared commitment to ensuring the development leaves a positive legacy beyond the construction works, supporting initiatives that strengthen local communities and create opportunities for people living nearby.

Speaking about the launch, Darragh Elliott, CEO of Elliott Group, said: “Construction should leave more than buildings behind. It should leave opportunities, stronger communities and a lasting positive impact. Through the Community Benefit Programme, we are pleased to support the fantastic work already being carried out by local organisations and help create opportunities that will continue long after the project is complete.

Applications have been assessed against the programme’s priority themes, with funding awarded to projects that demonstrate clear community benefit and contribute to creating a stronger, more connected and more sustainable local area.
