Winners of the ICE Awards 2024 announced

The Irish construction industry is delivering projects for clients which can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world. This was clear as the winners took to the stage at the ICE Awards Gala on 24 May. Over 1,300 AEC professionals, supply chain partners, educators and stakeholders – all gathered to champion and celebrate excellence in Irish construction.

Affectionately dubbed ‘Construction Big Night Out’, the gala night is the largest social gathering on the industry’s calendar annually with over 1,300 attendees. The stars of the AEC sector were out in force as many established names and some newcomers picked up their solid crystal trophies as they were awarded their prize in the various categories.

The ICE Awards are the most highly regarded and most challenging to win construction awards and as one lucky winner put it, “There are others but an ICE Award is the one we all want”.

Winning an ICE Award is very serious business but the Gala night once again delivered a fun filled and entertainment packed night.

Presented in Ireland’s premier events venue, The Convention Centre Dublin guests were welcomed on arrival to some bubbles and the musical stylings of the internationally renowned ‘Trad Trio’. The Gala was once again hosted by Ireland’s reigning queen of comedy, who can be seen touring currently with her smash hit show ‘O’Kaning It’.

The interval act was truly spectacular as the ‘Static’ dance group took to the stage. Performing a new and exclusive premier at the ICE Awards the show utilised stunning LED costumes combined with amazing dancers, top-class choreography, and lots of imagination to produce a visual feast which blew the audience away. Closing out the evening was one of Ireland’s premier live bands ’After Party’ taking revellers into the early hours.
