Kingspan Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of rigid phenolic, PIR and vacuum panel insulation materials, has acquired Finnish PIR insulation manufacturer, SPU, as part of a program of expansion and to extend the markets for its existing brands.

Kingspan’s insulation division has enjoyed consistent and substantial growth over the past decade, helped by a continuous program of investment in market development, manufacturing capability and customer service together with astute acquisitions. SPU produces a comprehensive range of PIR insulation products, and is well established in the Nordic and Baltic states.
