CIF Cork Seminar – 23 Jan 2015
The Cork Branch of the CIF will be holding a special half day seminar on Friday 23rd January 2015 at the Rochestown Park Hotel.
The conference will run from 8.45am to 1pm.
Among the guest speakers will be:
- Paul Quinn, Chief Procurement Officer, Office of Government Procurement
- David O’Brien, Chairman, Government Construction Contracts Committee
- Martin Acton, Chief Procurement Officer, Irish Water
- Jim Curran, HSE
- Larry McEvoy, Department of Education and Skills
CIF President Michael Stone and CIF Director General Tom Parlon will also address the seminar.
This is a particularly timely event with major changes taking place in the way the Government procures contracts.
The Government Construction Contracts are also under review and David O’Brien, Chairman of the committee handling the review process will give an update on the interim recommendations to the public works contracts and the medium term strategy for development, procurement and administration of projects under the Exchequer capital programme.
