Culligan to create 102 new jobs and multi-million-euro investment

Culligan Ireland, a Filtered Water Services provider in Ireland, has announced a multi-million-euro investment to fuel its continued growth, while providing cleaner, safer water for both household and commercial customers.

As part of this investment, the company will create 54 new jobs throughout the country by summer 2027, bringing its Irish workforce to 250. A further 48 new jobs will be filled by 2029, bringing the total workforce at the company to almost 300 in the next three years.

These new positions are part of a significant investment into the company’s expansion following strong growth in demand for water filtration and softening services, alongside bottled water across commercial, public sector and home segments. The new positions will enhance the customer service experience, including roles such as water filtration and water softening technicians, customer service assistants and delivery drivers who will serve customers nationwide.

With depots located in Dublin, Galway and Cork, the investment will help the company expand its delivery fleet, which is already the industry’s largest in-house delivery team in Ireland.

“We are fortunate to have high-quality, natural water sources in Ireland, but many still struggle to navigate hard water, limescale, chlorine and other contaminants,” said John O’Connor, Managing Director, Culligan Ireland. “Our investment enables us to sustainably enhance Culligan Ireland’s services and solutions for businesses and households across Ireland.”

Each year Culligan teams deliver more than 600,000 reusable 19-litre water bottle drums to businesses across Ireland. Leveraging various solutions, this amounts to over 11.35 million litres of water per annum, eliminating the need for vast quantities of single-use plastic bottles. Additionally, Culligan services and solutions have helped reduce the need for 45 billion single-use plastic bottles globally.

Since 2023, Culligan Ireland has grown its workforce by 55%, reflecting its revenue growth and the growing national demand for filtered, sustainable water at work and home.

“As we expand our workforce by 54 new team members by summer 2027, and further over the next three years, our focus remains on delivering exceptional customer experiences,” O’Connor continued. “Our proposition is unique in this market – we design and build our products. At Culligan, we are incredibly proud to operate the industry’s largest delivery fleet, with unmatched water service experience and high-quality solutions.”

Culligan Ireland’s growth builds on a series of brand acquisitions in recent years, including Tipperary Water and Glenpatrick Water’s commercial drinking divisions, alongside the acquisition of Celtic Water Solutions and Waterlogic. Today, Culligan is the largest provider of water filtration services in Ireland.
