By using our cutting-edge portfolio of managed print and document solutions, we deliver innovation to improve the way our customers work. Our team’s ability to move with the times, combined with our vast experience allows us to provide unrivalled guidance and support to our customers.” says Audrey Frost, Sales & Marketing Manager at Canon Ireland. This pro-active approach has kept Canon Ireland at the forefront of business innovation in Ireland for over 36 years.
“Our customers range from well-known global construction firms to smaller, locally based companies. In terms of the products and solutions we provide, it is never a case of one size fits all. We must always listen to the requirements of the customer, adapt, and then decide on what approach will deliver the best results” says Philip Quinlan, an Account Manager for Canon Ireland with over 25 years’ experience in the AEC sector. “In the case of one of our customers here in Ireland, we currently supply and service their print infrastructure across their multiple head office sites, as well as providing them with A3 and CAD print, copy and scan devices for temporary work sites. Furthermore, the quick turnaround and flexibility of a short-term contract allows us to deliver print services in a secure, timely and cost-efficient way.”
Looking to the Future
Sustainability is at the forefront of everything Canon does, and no product tells this story better than the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 ES Series. In particular, the robustness of these multifunction colour printers has really resonated with customers in the AEC sector. These devices are made from up to 90% renewed materials to minimise CO2 in production, with built-in advanced technologies such as low melting point toner to help reduce energy consumption. As well as being cost-effective and reliable, the ES series is perfectly suited to the unique demands of on-site printing.
“We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact across our operations by transforming the way we operate and manufacture products to contribute to a circular economy while minimising our carbon emissions and other environmental impacts. We’re also growing our social value impact with education programmes to empower and inspire young people equipping them with the skills needed to make a difference and shape their worlds,” says Keith Kenny, Head of Solutions Sales at Canon Ireland.
“Our focus has always been on solving problems. By working together with our clients, we design a solution that saves time and money, usually by automating a manual paper-based business process. For example, one of our larger clients approached us with an issue related to a huge backlog of paper applications arriving at the business. This was causing lengthy delays to the processing and approval process. In this case, working together we implemented our efficient, robust, reliable, and easy to use document digitisation solution, IRISXtractTM. Applications and additional information are now prepared, scanned, checked and are now available in Oracle within minutes, not weeks.” If readers would like to arrange a free Print Infrastructure Assessment (PIA), email solutions.ireland@canon.ie
