Soprema now offers one soundproofing solution for the complete building envelope with the TECSOUND range, including roofs (timber and metal deck), ceilings, walls (timber/metal partitions and retention walls), floors and even wastewater pipes, that can be used in residential, commercial, educational, government and industrial projects.

TECSOUND

The TECSOUND range consists of bitumen-free, high-density synthetic membranes available in various sizes and thicknesses, ranging from 1.75mm (TECSOUND 35) to 5mm (TECSOUND 100). We also offer TECSOUND SY, a self-adhesive version of the TECSOUND membrane and TECSOUND TUBE S, specially designed to insulate pipes.

Offering great sound insulation, the TECSOUND range has multiple advantages. The membranes are very thin (up to 5mm) so they don’t take too much space, ageing resistant, rot proof, flexible and adaptable to uneven surfaces, behave well in low temperatures, have high elongation capacity and may act as a vapour control layer. Recently, our TECSOUND soundproofing membranes were used on a number of educational projects, including Ballinteer, Carrignavar and Carshill schools where we were also the supplier of the waterproofing systems for the buildings.
