Ken Aherne appointed Managing Director of Sisk Ireland East business

John Sisk & Son has announced the appointment of Ken Aherne, Managing Director for its Ireland East business with effect from 1st March 2023.

Ken, an Engineer by profession, joined Sisk in 1988 and has a wealth of experience across all aspects of our business. He is a strong advocate for our company values of Care, Integrity and Excellence and takes pride in supporting his team in developing fulfilling careers and delivering complex construction projects. He is known to many within the industry and can be relied on for an insightful perspective on subjects relating to the industry, Sisk and people development.

Ken has played an instrumental role in a vast array of projects during his time with Sisk, not least some of our more challenging projects such as the Croke Park, Dundrum Town Centre, Grangegorman & Fibonacci Square as well as developing a suite of projects in our Healthcare portfolio. His vision and his ability to translate strategy into practice, leaves him well placed to deliver in this key role for the Company.
