EDC opens Istanbul office, expanding presence in MENAT region

Engineering consultancy EDC has announced that it has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, expanding its presence in the MENAT region to accommodate client demand and leverage opportunities within these regions.

As EDC prepares to celebrate 20 years in business in 2023, this expansion is another exciting step forward for the company and sets the foundation for future growth in Turkey and beyond. The expansion into Istanbul aligns with the EDC’s growth strategy which has also included the opening of an office to service the Mid-West of Ireland, the appointment of two Executive Directors in the company’s Cork and Dublin Offices; and the increase in headcount to over 85 employees across their five offices over the past 24 months.

Commenting on the expansion into Turkey, Richard O’Farrell, Managing Director of EDC said “EDC is looking to further grow our engineering and consultancy services, and the strategic decision to expand to Istanbul strengthens our delivery capabilities and increases our ability to service our current and future clients and sectors.”
