Founded in 1974 by John Donnelly and friends at Walls Construction, the ‘Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin’ (CHF Crumlin) will hold its 49 event to help charities through the game of golf.

Crumlin and other charities including Autism have benefitted greatly over many decades as a result of this particular annual event and Crumlin is hopefully set to benefit by €30,000 in October 2022.

Golf Event

Doonbeg Golf Links, Co. Clare, The golfers hotel on the Wild Atlantic Way and The Bellbridge House Hotel, Spanish Point, Co. Clare, Friday 28t October 2022 .

Golfers are contributing the majority of the €30,000 to be fundraised through entry fees and donations.

Why participate

1. Open Champion Shane Lowry has kindly agreed to lend his support by donating some golfing memorabilia to the auction.
2. Fourball vouchers to play some great Irish golfing venues with are more prizes in the pipeline.
3. The prize value to date has now increased to exceed €10,410 and growing daily. Many of the prizes will be used in the raffle and auction thus hopefully helping to edge us closer to the magical €30,000 mark.
4. The JustGiving donations are ‘dropping into our dedicated box’ with donations from home and Australia amounting to €1,000.00 so far. The link below makes it easy for anyone to donate directly to Crumlin.
5. To date there are 4 tee boxes sponsored by Kilsaran, Killeshal Precast Concrete, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, Kilrush, Co. Clare and a sponsor from Sydney.
6. Currently there are 28 teams totalling 112 golfers with 56 players from The Construction Sector.
7.  For Crumlin the charity is on target to fundraise up to €30,000 which will not be a bad days work following similar contributions annually over several decades!
8. Doonbeg is a 5-star golf resort having been awarded the Best Golf Resort in Munster for 2022.

How you can help

Tee Box Sponsorship out on the links at Doonbeg Golf Club for €100

The charity wishes to encourage Construction companies to consider sponsoring a TEE BOX for €100 at Doonbeg. Sponsors will have the option to place a sign on the tee box at no extra cost. This sign can be provided by the sponsor to Doonbeg Golf Club a few days prior to 28 October 2022 or their logo may be sent by email to Doonbeg Golf Club whereby Doonbeg will make up your sign.

The sign will be placed on the selected tee box for teams to see on the golf day and our golfers in the construction sector and elsewhere will be advised of the sponsorers name by weekly updates until October 28th 2022.

Additionally, all sponsorers names will be included on the Gala Dinner Menu Card on October 28.
