One of Dublin’s Largest Housing Developments for 27 Years to Launch this Weekend

Developed by Park Developments, the first phase of Clay Farm, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, comes to the market this weekend. Clay Farm is one of the largest housing developments to launch in Dublin 18 since The Gallops, Leopardstown in 1990.

The company last year secured permission, through the traditional planning system, for 163 houses and 262 apartments at a neighbouring site on the Clay Farm lands.

Park Developments, who have been at the forefront of residential development in South County Dublin over the past 50 years, have instructed Savills to market the first phase of houses consisting of 3 and 4 bedroom A-rated homes ranging between 1,173 sq.ft and 1,733 sq.ft in size. Prices for 3-beds start at €470,000 and 4-beds start at €560,000. Currently, Clay Farm has planning approval for 163 houses and 262 apartments, however, Park Developments have submitted a planning application via Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s fast-track development system for circa 900 additional units.

David Browne, Head of New Homes at Savills comments: “Clary Farm is the most exciting new home development to come to the market since the launch of The Gallops, Leopardstown back in the early 90s – which is situated just across the road and was also developed by Park Developments. Prospective buyers can rest assured that the quality of units at Clay Farm are state-of-the-art – and completely unrivalled by any other new home development in the area. In terms of location, Clay Farm is in a perfect position – just minutes away from the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, and a 15-minute drive from the sea.”

Clay Farm provides prospective buyers with a choice of five house types that meet the highest building standards. Each 3 and 4 bed house are designed for sustainable living with the very latest in energy saving technologies, superfast broadband and high build quality throughout. Each home has the benefit of two dedicated parking spaces and back garden patio areas.
