Grant Thornton announces 250 new jobs in Ireland
Leading professional services firm Grant Thornton has announced the creation of 250 new jobs across all areas of its business operations in Ireland.
A significant number of the new posts will be in its Centre of Excellence, which was launched today by Eoghan Murphy T.D., Minister of State for Financial Services. The positions are permanent roles for high calibre professionals with practice and industry backgrounds to filled within the next 18 months.
The Centre of Excellence provides a new framework for the delivery of global compliance and reporting services, from its base in Ireland. Organisations with financial reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions will now be able to avail of specialist international expertise delivered by Grant Thornton’s Dublin-based team, e.g. for the preparation of bilingual local GAAP Financial Statements.
