National Economic & Social Council Housing Conference announced for Dublin
The National Economic & Social Council (NESC) have announced that will host a Housing Conference on “Creating an Affordable, Sustainable and Equitable Housing System” on the 10th September 2015 in Dublins Croke Park.
The conference is designed to stimulate debate amongst senior decision makers in the public and private sectors on the theme of Creating an Affordable, Sustainable and Equitable Housing System.

The key issues that this national conference will address include:
- Housing as an integrated system—policy and practice
- The role of the private rental and social housing sectors in providing permanent and affordable housing
- How to improve the supply of land and housing
- The role of regulation in delivering affordable and sustainable housing.
Keynote speakers includes: Professor Mark Stephens (Heriot-Watt University) and Professor Marja Elsinga (Delft University of Technology).
