Another city centre offering from Regus

Regus, the global workspace provider, is to open its seventh location in Ireland.

The new business centre will occupy the third floor of the Ormond Building on Dublin’s North Quay and offer a variety of business services and high specification, flexible space with iconic views of the city’s skyline and River Liffey.

Regus currently has five other centres across Dublin, including the one in The Chase, Sandyford, that opened last year and one in Cork. Enquiry rates are at an all-time high, particularly from the tech and digital, legal, recruitment and financial sectors.

The Ormond centre is expected to attract a wide variety of business users, from large corporate customers to local law firms, due to the building’s proximity to the Four Courts and The Law Library. Based on the experience of other centres, Regus also expects the business lounge to be popular with mobile workers looking for somewhere productive to work between meetings or on business trips, thanks to its excellent transport links with Dublin City Centre and airport.

One mobile worker who welcomes the opening of the new centre is Rob Magee, co-founder of Ingenio, a specialist recruitment practice for technology professionals. Ingenio started just three months ago, and Rob works predominantly from a home office but uses his Businessworld Gold card to access Regus business lounges in Dublin and London.

Rob comments, “Our business is completely candidate and client focussed which requires me to travel frequently. The new business lounge at the Ormond Business Centre offers another convenient place where I can work; its central location means it is close to many of our clients. The companies we work with often need to recruit people quickly, so I need the ability to access our CRM to send sensitive, relevant information wherever I am. I also often need to meet candidates and clients in a discrete, professional location to discuss new roles. Having access to a network of drop-in workspace when I’m on the move is therefore invaluable.”

Karen Lawlor, Country Manager for Ireland at Regus, comments: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new centre in Dublin which marks another step in our expansion across Ireland.

“The Ormond Business Centre is an exciting addition to our network in Dublin, providing a new conveniently -located business base at the heart of the city’s legal sector. We expect strong take-up from local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in Ireland.

“As world leader in flexible workspace, we are committed to continually expanding our network and making business easier for our customers.”

Regus is the world’s largest flexible workspace provider, with business centres in 104 countries.
