Contracting Plus to employ 30 new staff in Dublin and Cork
Irish firm Contracting PLUS, accountants for professional contractors, will create 30 new jobs, it was announced today.
Some of the jobs will be based at the company’s Irish offices in Dublin and Cork, according to the company, which recently became wholly Irish-owned. The jobs will range from graduate to management level across sales and marketing, finance, tax and payroll.
Chairman Michael Dineen said management had been “delighted” when the opportunity arose to buy out its minority shareholder and rebrand. “We have seen significant growth in the flexible workforce in Ireland, and our company has expanded in line with that growth.”
Minister for Research and Innovation Mr Sean Sherlock welcomed the announcement. Frank Ryan, CEO of Enterprise Ireland said Contracting PLUS’s ambitious export-focused strategy clearly demonstrated the potential it sees for export-led growth.
On the 18th October, CXC celebrated its 10 year anniversary by hosting a special event at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin. The event was attended by both contractors and agencies that have contributed to the success of CXC over the last 10 years as well as key figures within CXC Ireland and CXC Global. The event provided the opportunity to both thank those involved in the growth and success of CXC as well as to announce the rebranding of CXC as Contracting PLUS.
