Meitheal Architects, the award-winning architecture and urban design practice, has announced the commencement of works on a landmark multi-storey, mixed-use development at Northern Cross in Malahide, Co. Dublin for Montane Developments.

The project, which will form part of the expanding Northern Cross Town Centre, will feature two double-height commercial units and 53 high-quality residential apartments, ranging from studio to one, two, and three-bedroom configurations.

Positioned at the junction of the Malahide Road and Northern Cross, the 8-12 storey building is designed to serve as both a local focal point and a distinctive landmark for North Dublin. The architectural vision reflects a modern urban lifestyle, providing residents with a blend of luxury living and access to a thriving commercial hub.

Each of the 53 apartments will feature private outdoor spaces, including balconies and terraces, as well as shared rooftop gardens and ground-level courtyards. The overall design will prioritise sustainability, with careful consideration given to environmental impacts and community well-being.
