Meitheal Architects appoints two Architectural Technologists
Meitheal Architects, an award-winning architecture and urban design practice, has announced the appointment of Alan Cloake and Robert Doyle as Architectural Technologists at the firm.
Robert has worked on numerous large-scale residential, commercial, educational, leisure, and healthcare projects during his twenty-year career in the construction industry. He will be based in Meitheal Architects’ Dublin office. He has held previous roles as an Architectural Technologist and Assigned Certifier, with extensive knowledge of the planning process and compliance with building control regulations.
Alan brings over twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry, having worked on both commercial and residential projects from inception to completion in Ireland and the UK. Alan will also be based in Meitheal Architects’ Dublin office. Alan has held previous roles as an Architectural Technologist and Project Manager, with expertise in the planning process, project presentation, site inspections, and the BCMS process.

Meitheal Architects continues its strong growth trajectory, with employee numbers more than doubling in the last five years. The team now comprises over sixty professionals working from offices in Dublin and Cork.
The practice has a robust client portfolio, including over 2,100 homes under construction and a total of 4,000 homes in various stages of development, valued at over €450m. These projects span Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Kerry, Kildare, Mayo, Limerick, Offaly, and Waterford. The leading architectural practice currently manages over fifty active multi-unit housing projects.
Meitheal Architects is building on a successful 2023, during which it advised on numerous key projects nationwide and completed 820 homes across various developments.
