Elliott Group’s Fit Out Division Completes Impressive 5500 m2 Dunnes Stores project in Point Village
Elliott Group’s Fit Out Division has announced the successful completion of a remarkable 5500 m2 fit-out project across two floors for the new Dunnes Stores in Point Village.
The store, now open just in time for the festive season, introduces an enhanced retail space featuring a vibrant market deli, bakery, fishmonger, and a spacious new coffee shop, adding to the development’s appeal.
The extensive project encompassed the installation of six travelators, two goods lifts, full customer-facing and non-facing prep kitchens, eight produce coldrooms/freezer rooms, an in-house bakery, sushi counter, and a customer café. Notably, a significant mechanical and electrical component was integrated, including works within a 45m mechanical services riser to ensure comprehensive ventilation and refrigeration across both floors. Many elements of secondary structural steel were also added throughout the project. The project was completed over 16 weeks between August to November 2023.
Elliott Group Fit Out Division thanked their client Dunnes Stores as well as the design team and partners for working safely with them to deliver this highly anticipated fit-out.
David O’Kelly, Contracts Director of Elliott Group Fit Out Division, praised the team’s achievement, stating, “The delivery of the new Dunnes Stores stands as a demonstration of the exceptional quality standards upheld by our team. From procurement to supply chain operations, our team’s commitment to excellence is absolute. We are delighted to achieve PC and BCAR on this project. We extend our best wishes to Dunnes Stores and wish them continued success in their new establishment.”
