Webinar: Next Generation Construction of Capital Assets in Ireland
The Construction Sector Group (CSG) Innovation and Digital Adoption subgroup are running a webinar on 16 December as it looks at delivery of Next Generation Construction for FDI projects in Ireland.
The CSG was established in 2018 by The Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER) to ensure regular and open dialogue between government and industry on how best to achieve and maintain a sustainable and innovative construction sector positioned to successfully deliver on the commitments in Project Ireland 2040. The CSG brings together industry stakeholder groups and relevant government departments and is chaired by DPER’s Secretary General.
In 2020, the CSG supported the establishment of the Subgroup for Innovation and Digital Adoption to implement 7 priority actions recommended in the ‘Economic Analysis of Productivity in the Irish Construction Sector’ report, commissioned by DPER, published in November 2019. The Innovation and Digital Adoption project officially commenced in September 2020 with appointment of the Chair.
