Wayfair Expands European Operation Centre in Galway
Wayfair Inc, one of the world’s largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor, today announced the expansion of its multi-lingual European Operations Centre in Galway, Ireland.
The company will create approximately 160 new jobs in the Galway area as it scales its workforce to keep pace with rapid growth in Europe. To accommodate the expanding team, Wayfair will open a new 30,000 square foot facility on Tuam Road to replace its prior facility in Mervue Business Park. The company will celebrate the new Tuam Road office opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning at 10 a.m.

New employees will join Wayfair’s 200 existing Galway-based team members. Open roles include positions in customer service, inbound sales, business account management, finance, supplier operations, business analysts, recruitment, training and IT services.

The development of Wayfair’s new facility is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation through IDA Ireland.
