Minister Kelly confirms Government’s commitment to CIRI at an event in the CIF HQ
To mark the initial success of CIRI – the construction register, a short reception was held in the CIF on Tuesday 25th November.
Already more than 400 construction companies are listed on the register and another 800+ are at various stages of the application process.
The special guest at the reception was Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government Alan Kelly TD. During the course of his speech, the Minister praised CIRI and also spoke about his plans for the building regulations to take into account one off housing, self builds and other issues.
Other speakers at the event were CIF Director General Tom Parlon, CIF President Philip Crampton and CIRI Registration Board Chairman, Hank Fogarty.
