Stunning Fairco floor to ceiling sliding glass doors brings the outside in
The company that brought the Hamptons interiors look to Ireland is now offering homeowners the chance to truly integrate their gardens with their living space – using unique floor to ceiling glass multi-track sliding doors.
Fairco Windows and Doors specialise in integrated outdoor living and they have just been announced as sole Dublin, Meath and Kildare distributors for the Megrame range of window and doors, which start at as little as €1,500.
“We want people to be able to enjoy all that is great about their gardens while taking the vagaries of the Irish weather out of the equation,” said Fairco Managing Director Jim Toal.
“After the major success of our Hamptons Showhouse in Santry we wanted to explore ways of giving homeowners a closer experience with the great outdoors and Megrame’s windows were a perfect fit.”
“With our lightweight, top quality, sliding glass solutions, people can enjoy their gardens or outdoor spaces whatever the weather, and whatever the width.”
Fairco can provide custom-made solutions to bringing the outdoors in, which are limited only by people’s imaginations.
The company has installed a specialised timber showroom outside their Hamptons-themed indoor showhouse on the Old Airport Road in Santry, to display their latest innovation.
“We have teamed up with Megrame because it is a natural exterior extension to our own products,” said Jim.
“The finish is unlike anything else on the market, at a price that will suit most budgets.
“We can now integrate people’s gardens into their living spaces at any scale – with a quality that is unrivalled.”
Fairco’s multi-track sliding doors are made from engineered timber, and all feature hand-finished joints.
“Engineered timber means that you avoid all the traditional problems such as warping and twisting, while the alu-clad exterior means that these are truly maintenance-free products,” said Jim.
“The doors can be made to suit any size or shape, bringing a new dimension to house renovation.”
Jim established Fairco 15 years ago, and since then they have pioneered high-quality Hamptons timber-look windows in Ireland.
They recently opened Ireland’s largest indoor showhouse – a permanent ideal homes exhibition where you can experience the world of The Hamptons from the inside out.
The breathtaking interiors of the timber-framed house will be familiar to anyone who watches popular TV shows set in The Hamptons, such as Revenge.
“I designed a range very much to the Hamptons style, which became extremely popular, and suddenly our customers wanted interiors to match.
“It started with architraves, then bookshelves and wall-panelling and then moved on to orangeries, all with the high degree of detail that is a feature of this style.
“However, increasingly our clients also wanted us to explore the option of bringing them closer to their gardens.
