Burnside Eurocyl creates 25 new jobs
Burnside Eurocyl has created 25 new jobs in an expansion of its plant and a €3.5m investment.
The family owned company is one of Europe’s biggest hydraulic cylinder manufacturer and is also a supplier of machinery.
It is a member of the Burside group and clients include Volvo, JCB as well as Komatsu.
“Throughout the country we have strong, family-owned manufacturing and engineering companies like Burnside, creating products and services to the highest standards for international markets,” said Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton.
“Companies like these can be the engine of Irish recovery, and through the Action Plan for Jobs we have put in place a range of measures to provide better supports for them, such as the Development Capital Scheme and the Foreign Earnings Deduction.”
The company added today that it is committed to the business and the Carlow region with the workforce a major factor in the continuing success of Burnside Eurocyl. Independent.ie
