Dublin nursing home to create 110 new jobs

A family-run Dublin nursing home is to open a new retirement facility with the creation of 110 jobs.

The 92-bed Ferndene Nursing and Retirement Home in Blackrock is due to open in the coming weeks.

The centre, which will be operated by the Willis Care Group, will provide a number of services including physiotherapy, GP services and an extensive social and recreational programme.

The new jobs will be in the areas of nursing, caring, catering, administration, managerial and support services.

“The centre will be run by the Willis Care Group with a strong family ethos built up through its 30 years of experience in caring for the elderly,” Ronan Willis of the Willis Care Group said. Source: The Irish Times.
