SEAI Chief Executive, Dr. Brian Motherway said: “More than three thousand business people visited the Energy Show over the two days showing how vibrant this sector is for enterprise and innovation. The feedback from exhibitors at this year’s Show indicates that a lot of good business and strong leads have been developed which is what the Energy Show is all about. The International Markets Area also opened up new doors for many, allowing Irish companies to look to new foreign markets.”
At opening of the Energy Show 2013, SEAI called on companies to apply for €11 million funding for energy schemes promoting energy efficiency retrofits in local communities. Workshops to assist applicants applying for funding under the Better Energy Communities schemes and the Better Energy Warmer Homes Area Based programme were very well attended.
